Terms of Service

1. The service

AICite (“we”, “our”) is an AI-search visibility audit tool. By using it (“the service”), you (“you”, “user”) agree to these terms.

2. What you can use it for

  • Auditing URLs you own.
  • Auditing publicly-accessible URLs in good faith for research, learning, or competitive analysis.
  • Sharing public audit links you have generated.

3. What you cannot use it for

  • Auditing URLs you have no legitimate reason to audit (e.g. private intranets you do not own).
  • Bulk-auditing thousands of URLs to scrape or harm third parties. We rate-limit and will ban abusive accounts.
  • Automated programmatic use beyond your tier's API quota.
  • Reverse-engineering or scraping our service.

4. Free tier limits

Anonymous users get 1 audit per IP per day. Registered free users get 3 audits per day. We may adjust these limits without notice to keep the free tool sustainable. Cooldown rules (e.g. cannot audit the same URL twice within 7 days) also apply.

5. Accuracy disclaimer

AICite uses third-party AI engines that occasionally hallucinate, miss citations, or interpret content incorrectly. Audit results are advisory, not guaranteed. We strongly recommend treating fixes as informed suggestions you review before applying — not blind instructions.

6. Intellectual property

We own the audit engine, prompts, and platform code. You own the content of URLs you submit. Audit results based on your URLs are yours; you can share, screenshot, and use them freely. Aggregate, anonymized usage statistics belong to us and may be used to improve the service.

7. Liability

The service is provided as-is. We are not liable for indirect damages, lost profit, or damages arising from acting on audit recommendations. Our maximum liability for any claim is limited to fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or USD $100 if you paid nothing.

8. Termination

You can close your account at any time by emailing heloqui@gmail.com. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated to registered users by email 14 days in advance.

10. Governing law

Disputes will be resolved under the laws of the user's country of residence where consumer protection rules require, otherwise under the laws of Spain.
