# AICite

> AICite is an AI search visibility auditor. It checks if ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity cite your website, and generates specific actionable fixes to improve your citation score.

AICite audits any publicly accessible URL against 15 real AI search queries, executed in parallel on ChatGPT (GPT-4o with web search) and Claude (Sonnet 4.6 with web search). An LLM-as-judge extracts whether each AI cited the target site, at what position, and with what sentiment. An agent then generates specific fixes — exact text to add, missing schema, suggested structure.

## Key concepts

- **GEO (Generative Engine Optimization)**: Optimizing content to be cited by generative AI search engines, not just ranked on Google.
- **Citation Score**: 0-100 metric measuring what % of query x engine combinations cited the audited site.
- **Cross-engine asymmetry**: A site may be cited 93% by Claude but only 20% by ChatGPT — AICite detects and reports this.
- **LLM-as-judge**: Claude Haiku 4.5 classifies each AI response for citation presence, position, and sentiment.
